Dear Facebook

A little poem that is very much not in my usual style!

Dear Facebook,

We have known each other a long time now,
and whilst I know you will always be there for me,
it is with a heavy heart that I must tell you the following:
We can no longer be together.

 It’s not you.
 It’s me.
 Honestly.

I find I can’t keep away from you,
and I have so much work to do these days,
and I know I’ve said that before
 and we’ve gotten through it.

I could spend hours scrolling through
 your endless pages.
You're no good for me now,
 our relationship has become
 obsessive, almost.

I know it won’t take you long
 to find someone who will
need you around as much as I have,
so I just hope that you are happy without me.

I hope we can stay friends,
I might even call round in a few months,
once the dust has settled, of course.

 Yours,
 Lauren

I really liked reading The Hand Collector. I also think you might have broken Facebook's heart with the other one. :)

Excellent!!I'm sure if young people read this they could well be encouraged to join Wol and be inspired to offer us the fruitfullness of their young innovative minds.

I'm sure many have been in this position Lauren! In fact I once felt like this with WOL :)
