SUDS 'n DUDS

Thinking about Lynn Dye's "Oblivious" on WOL......

What happiness to live alone

And all the washing up's your own

To do - or leave for just a while

For later on - and then I smile

At the thought of flushing soap

From dish to sink - no time to mope;

And after that - my dirty duds

Waiting for the cleansing suds;

Domestic chores I tend to see

As inexpensive therapy!

I'm enjoying retirement too, MC. :-)
I certainly don't know how I found time for work either!

Lynn/JC...
I guess that now I'm retired, I can claim to be "washed up" in every sense. But I like it...and wonder how I ever found the time for
work!

Hello MC
I used to put my boss through hell as I was pushing my lawnmower! Very therapeutic. It was like having one of those car static strips they used to attach to the back bumper shoved up your arse and constantly discharging. Bliss.

Ha ha MC, my idea of inexpensive therapy was to write the poem! ;-)
