THE FLOATING VOTER SONG

I`m a floating voter

Can`t make up my mind

Who I`m going to vote for

I`m just the wavering kind,

Tory liberal and labour

Are worried where my one vote goes,

But I`ll remain a floating voter

One of the great don`t knows.

I`m the proud possesser

Of an un-committed X

All the candidates are very

Anxious not to vex.

Now my lady wife is having

The best time of her life

Because they have to make a fuss of

A floating voters wife.

David Nicholas and Edward

They all want my mark.

That`s fine `Cause while I`ve got them worried

They`re all in the dark.

When they came to kiss the baby,

The baby was very shrewd,

She peed on Liberal and Labour,

On the Conservative she poohed.

As a sometime songwriter, I can imagine Billy Bragg singing this. Pithy and potentially tuneful! Who would want to fall foul of you and JC...?!

Bit like choosing between the devil and the deep blue sea, Harry! Well done, I enjoyed this, and what a clever baby - she has the right idea!!
