Your Horse Ate My Pyjamas

O come all ye faithless,

All your sodding family,

O come ye to my house

And view the debris.

Come see the broken glass

And the trampled down front door.

Your horse ate my pyjamas,

Your horse ate my pyjamas,

Your horse ate my pyjamas,

Thanks a lot!

O come bring your siblings,

Your sister is a menace,

She stole my identity

And your brother is worse.

He peed on my petunias

Every time he walked past.

Your horse ate my pyjamas,

Your horse ate my pyjamas,

Your horse ate my pyjamas,

Thanks a lot!

O come see how much straw

Is strewn over my bedroom.

Just a few buttons is all

That’s left of my jim-jams.

There’s mud on the carpet

And turds in the wardrobe.

Your horse ate my pyjamas,

Your horse ate my pyjamas,

And put a hoof through my stairs,

Thanks a lot!

What a fun parody you have here Lynn - I have an odd few xmas parodies lurking somewhere, but it was my rewording of supercalafragilistic..... that resulted in a tongue curdling twister, hehe. :) Best wishes, Dave

Wonderfully 'nothing at all' and 'everything you can think of' both at the same time. What a zany metaphor for Christmas 'family get-togethers'!

Thank you everyone for your comments. :o)

Anthony, I was working on something else for the WOL competition, but since you mention it, I could tag this too.

Stef, yes of course I hadn't forgotten, just surprised you remember it that well! Lol. xx

Brilliant. Reminds me of the Christmas I delivered a child's pony into the front room of a town house. Tinsel but no turds

Nothing Angel-like about him, Stef - must be a different horse!
Thanks for comment xx
