A FESTIVE SEASON SUGGESTION

I have completed a Christmas carol and it occurs to me that it would be a fun thing if others

who contribute to WOL blogs could come up with their own.  After all, it's coming up to THAT

time of year and perhaps we can add to the list of carols currently known and loved.  I will

post my own - with a modest audio track - shortly.  So...how about it, fellow weavers of

words - any takers between now and Christmas Day?  Words alone - OR with audio

as you see fit.  Remember just how poetic some of the old carols sound and be inspired!

Just a thought.

Thanks J.C. - I will check out your kind suggestion. Loved your take on "Little Donkey"! Poor little darlings would probably
have been traumatised for life!!

Crackin' idea, MC.
Me and my mate have just done a School Hymn for our local infant/primary. (My first draft of lyrics was "Little Bastards, Little Bastards" to the tune of "Little Donkey", but he wasn't impressed!)
Why don't you post it on the Discussions Board? It might attract a bigger audience than a blog.
