'The Lady of the House
Wia,
Whom he loves'

within these ruined walls
you lived
loved
played
laughed
cried
worked

- died

long gone now
only dust remains
yet carved painted stones
bring testimony
of your life
and warmth
down through the years
and suddenly
you are almost
close enough to touch

Excellent John.
I had to look up the reference but I'm better for it.
Good on ya.

'aint history fascinating John.
I,like a lot of people can relate to
the feeling of 'connection'
when we visit museums and the like.

the one exhibit that blows my mind away
is the Bayeux tapestry-wowsers!

neat poem-glad you are back
between the shafts.
