There’s a limit of thirty miles per hour,

And so the word goes round.

A speed camera has arrived in the road,

Don’t be the one to get found.

Man has one eye on the yellow box,

His Ford passes at twenty-nine,

Other eye is on his speedometer,

This careless driver escapes a fine.

Paying careful attention to the road,

Saab owner goes by at thirty-two.

He receives a fine in the post,

The safer driver does not get through.

So what is the use of a speed camera?

Do you really need to ask?
