Rebuilding the Tower of Babel?

Willing, worn-out worthies

working weekly, wearily

within wonderful wizardry.

Worriers, wordsmiths, wanderers,

worshipers, wounded, wild,

winners, whores, weirdos,

whisperers, whistleblowers, wrong-righters.

Whinings, warnings, warmings,

wishes,

wit,

wisdom?

WOL is part of the World Wide Web - almost synonymous - a cyber community...small wonder that is the conclusion we came to.

Very clever Dave. You`ve missed out a rather notorious "w" which would have gone rather well with your first line. lol

Thinking about what you might be saying here - is mankind trying to unify through the net but, as in god's response to the Tower of Babel, because it is questionable as to the purpose or wisdom behind it, is doomed to failure? Very loaded title I felt.

Sorry Dave - with all those W's I just couldn't help it. I'm not the only one drifting off-subject here though, M'Lud...

Um, actually this wasn't about WOL or WOLites at all but according to reception theory in which I've now been instructed (thank you) it's what people receive that matters.
The fact that it was written about the World Wide Web is neither here nor there.

Banksy's comments are getting more and more enigmatic. How did Michael Palin aka Pilate get in here?

A Woler is a mint poet with an ole in the middle - or I guess it could be the head, depending on the poet.

Actually I was thinking of winos, wasters and wankers - not necessarily in that order. I am far too nice a person to cast such aspersions on my fellow wolers though...

The 'whores' bit really stands out, given its initial sound, I guess you meant to do that?

This feels like it's a comment on the population of WOL! (almost)
