Gone are my forget-me-nots,
All my sweet-peas replaced with shallots;
And a marrow now grows
Where there once was a rose;
Could it be a vegetable plot?

Better marrow than courgette and it flows better...
Well - this could be an allegory for lost love being replaced with the hum drum or just a bit of fun..I like it. x
