Sometimes I think of WOL as an aquarium

With the poets as the fish.

We swim round and round.

Some live at the top of the tank

Skittering about and bumping into each other.

Some have little shoals they swim in for protection.

Some live alone in the dark depths and suddenly splash up to dazzle all the rest.

There are a few snappy piranhas!

Down below, we hear rumours of a giant octopus lying in wait!

I see myself as a little seahorse pottering about -

Hope I won’t be anyone’s dinner!

Very clever and witty analogy, Ann. Not sure where my plaice would be but I'd try to fillet well! (groan, sorry about that.)

LOL I am here in Odessa, in Ukraine now. It's terribly hot, +37. So, I really think how nice it could if I were a fish. But! Can't imagine what kind of fish I could be in your aquarium. And...it could be only in case if I would be taken into the company of poets.lol

Ms Foxglove, you are a hoot! It takes top-class brains to be so funny that it makes your readers shiver.

I enjoyed this Ann - it is life like and I can see where I fit in...
I wouldn't see you as a sea horse flitting around though. X
