A Christmas Bauble

I

SmileĀ

In dreamsĀ Ā

Of Christmas past.

That rosy glow we thought

would last. A sprinkle of wonder

In wide-eyed bliss. Mistletoe hangingĀ

For a virgin kiss. We believed in magic for

A little while. Such sights & sounds sent to

Ā beguile. If only we'd kept it in a little box, to

Ā openĀ

when

Age

TickĀ  tock

Tick tocksĀ

No grandchildren yet, Graham, but the daughter's getting broody, so might not be long! šŸ˜„ At least she still gets excited & stays at ours Christmas eve, If only to make sure we still get her something lol
