Biography
I write about the people I meet, memories about growing up, my hopes, my dreams, my struggles to find my place in life, my wins and losses, my spiritual journey and my search for truth... and the list goes on. Writing poetry heIps me better understand myself and the world around me. It is my commentary on life... as it pertains to me. One of my favorite forms of self expression, I believe I would write even no one would ever see it but me... That being said, I enjoy sharing my poetry and I appreciate the comments and the likes.
Shadows And Light
Shadows And Light My life, a flickering candle A flame through the dark of night... In a stand upon a mantle Casting shadows and light. Will a glow or glimmer remain When this light is no more? Or will everything remain the same As it has always been before?

-on “a miscreant yearns” ~ Thanks Marla Joy 🙏🏻🕊that speaks deeply to me as I never chose the way in which I had grown to use language; and you’re allowing room for that brings me to a place of freedom and acceptance, no matter how strange my language may get. It’s like writing the way Christopher Walken would employ language in his speech, almost (for lack of a more ready analogy). You are much appreciated and your kind words much valued. 🙏🏻🕊🌷rbk
