My Windows rattle, the hail does pour.

Winter’s got its foot in the Autumn door!

I see stubborn ice, refusing to go away.

Impatient Winter, wants to have its say!

So,what has the Autumn done to you?

Please can we see this season through!

A night of lashing gales and falling sleet.

Frozen, shivering cars, all line the street!

Weather warnings shown on my TV set.

Steady on Winter… it’s not your turn yet!

Snow was forecast, and they were right.

Heavy November snow fell in the night!

I love a fresh Autumn day, crisp and dry.

But Autumn seems to have passed us by!

My favourite seasons are Spring and ‘Fall’

But today, I don’t recognise Autumn at all!
