There's no need for a reunion,
Some relations are better from a distance.
I'm not praying to be back any soon or later,
Toxic-turned people and situations aren't any better.

Keeping a healthy heart is preferred,
Than letting malice, hate, and envy reside within.
Corrupting our souls with ugly thoughts and feelings,
At daggers end continuously with each other.

You stay where you are, that's your destiny,
I'll choose my people and my path, I'm still free.
You aren't mine nor do I possess you,
You live life as and how you feel, as you always do.

No blocking, unblocking, digital games I need,
Now we are both on safer shores, away from each.
I'm not looking forward to meet, text, or call from you,
Nor do I pray or hope for such a thing to construe.

Our destinies didn't bring us any closer,
It drifted us apart as soon as the wrong wires sparked.
You are a different element than me,
And both of us can coexist in harmony.

Without being in touch anytime in this life,
Or anytime in the afterlife.
May all good things happen to everyone,
Life is far more beautiful than we can imagine.

So let us all dwell in harmony and peace,
With folks God chose and gave us as bonds earthly.
