their bright songs set the world aflame 

This morning one came to my mind 
an ear worm popped into my head
The original lyrics changed
to some different words instead 

The new version has a chorus 
which is not so cheery and bright
It possibly could cause offence 
as it is a tad impolite 

The old version goes as folllows
as The Kids From Fame take a bow 
"Starmaker, Dream breaker
Soul taker, We're happy now"

The ear worm version in my head 
my response to his solemn vow 
"Rule maker, law breaker
p..s taker, you're sorry now"

Apologies for the “P” word….. and

I wonder if the lyrics you hear
is the Boris version instead
