Two beautiful warriors
this mornings battle has begun 
Creating a dramatic scene 
between the grey skies and rising sun

Intense clouds that promise rain
gather in the heavenly skies
The dawn sun sets them ablaze
to bring us this glorious sunrise 

Reflecting the skies overhead 
below the lake is calm and clear 
Carried on the gentle breeze
the sound of birdsong is all I hear
