 What we have may be decided by many things
 But we alone control what we will be.
 We are how we act.
 If the power to affect what we are and what we do exists at all
 It comes from us alone, and is given and taken wherever we choose.

 Money shall have no power over me.

 I am not eternal. 
 Time shall have no power over me.

 I am not blind to the world - 
 Faith shall have no power over me.

 I am not deaf to myself:
 People shall have no power over me.

 It is mine alone to be what I will be
 Love. Love shall have power over me.

 Love shall have power over me
 And Love may be an arrow, but
 I shall not grasp the wrong end of the stick.

 I give no power to the love I might receive:
 It should not change or rearrange me,
 To be shaped like this is to be shaped weak.

 I give full power to the love I wish to give:
 Love to myself, Love to the world,
 Love that can be seen, Love that can be heard.

 The shape of Love given
 Is the shape I wish to be
 The Love that I can give shall have power over me.
