A Cadenza

 

A melody drifted through the sky

All who heard, could not deny

The feeling of joy within its sway

As we sang & danced the night away

 

The song broke free upon the wind

And all indifference did rescind 

It came from mouths like blossom freed

Unchaining hearts of every creed

 

We danced until our hearts were clean

And thoughts ran clear as crystal streams 

With veil, now lifted from our eyes

We saw the beauty, not the lies.
