A well planned return

Headteachers are far from thrilled.

It is not a joke.

When September comes,

the school bells,

will summon children back,

to historically overcrowded schools.

Williamson expects teachers to keep classes

and whole year groups apart,

in separate bubbles without,

giving any thought on how,

learning will take place.

Children will mingle freely,

in the magic bubbles.

Social distancing will not be necessary.

Should incidence of Covid 19 resurface, measures to combat it are confusing.

Where will the magic bubbles appear from when September comes round?

Stephen thank you for your astute observations about the present Government's frightening handling all aspects of Covid 19 issues.

Their blase attitude is frightening.

Nice poem, Abdul.

The balance between combatting the virus and getting back to some semblance of normality is a difficult one. It is clear that many children's education (especially the poorer, less privileged) is suffering. I don't believe that the present government, with its daft mixed messages, cares about them very much, but there is a dilemma, and this work highlights the risky aspect of the whole thing.

Good job.

Your comments and like are duly noted and much appreciated.

The Government's plans to reopen schools are potentially very risky.

I pray for the establishment of a safe enviornment for your return back to study.

Po, John and Moon.girl

Thank you all for your comments and the like is much appreciated.

Po bubbles certainly do burst and what disasters lie in their wake?

John your analysis of our ruling class is spot on. It is strange that in a Western democracy the public so often elect incompetent people to represent them.

Perhaps the public believes that lies and corruption exists only amongst the third world political class?

Is our election process influenced by the late Les Dawson witticism that it doesn't matter who you vote for the government always gets in?

Perhaps people simply don't care about who they vote for.

Moon.girl your imagery is apocalyptic!

Yes, the monkeys are in charge of the zoo. Well a few months back the British public were given a chance to vote for sanity and common human decency but they decided to go with incompetence, lies and corruption.
