Walking in , feeling afraid

Having to give up the drugs that used to protect

Cant hide, can't coast, this is a matter of life and death.

Sometimes do more, sometimes do less

No more fooling around, it's time to open up and confess

Confess to your rights, confess to your wrongs

I know i'll be alright as long as i'm willing to give up the fight.

Easier said than done i know, 

In order to change, i need to accept the life unknown 

So, God, I pray to you with open ears

To help me through the struggle and take away my fears.

I want to be free, show me how to give up the life that use to protect me

Used to be fun, gave me a rush but became way too much

The feeling of serenity i cant ignore

The past will always be there but it's time to shut that door

Acceptance is the key to the life i want to complete

I'm to young to die, now my eyes are willing to see

The faith in God, the hope in myself 

To find out what the future has in store for me.
