Countdown has begun as a crazy driver gets ready to go.

It’s a race over the desert to reach Mach 1.

As he sets off g-force increases and a silver dot shoots

over the ground trailing dust. In a second

he has gone a mile reaching 600mph.

With a bang he careers through the sound barrier

ending up a dot on the horizon.
