The Beast
The walls that detain the tortured beast,
Scream and tell him he has sinned,
Alone he sips the nectar of misery and yearns for his demise,
He is undone by his lies,
Reflecting on the years he has lost,
Mourns for those who loved him,
But could not escape his wretched fate,
It’s too late,
His memories are his savior and curse,
He learns to smile through the tears,

Theres a place that’s hard to get to,
But once you’ve gone there’s no return,
A realm of no redemption,
Where angels cry and demons burn,
IN the far reaches of the soul,
A bottomless pit gives birth to fire,
That cleanses the sinners and the saints,
Destroys all hopes and all desires,
A home for the especially wicked,
Where the damned must earn their keep,
