A Sonnet for Bangladesh
In Bangladesh, where rivers softly flow,
A land once rich, now bruised by times of strife.
Unrest and chaos seem to steal the glow,
Of hope that once embraced the nation's life.
Corruption spreads its roots, so deep, so wide,
The youth, in search of dreams, are left dismayed.
While voices rise in protest, none collide,
To heal the wounds, or drive the dark away.
