Footsteps forward on the cold concrete,

westward facing towards the golden mass.

The gleaming sky of orange, green, and blue

lit up the last of the day.

I chased the sun with all my might

it's going away I know that well,

from the east, dark clouds move upon,

and I am losing the race

As the last of the light fades,

I reach the endless ocean of

dark waves and the chill...

Middle of The Night

In the middle of the night,

where the stars shine so bright,

the moon hangs low in the dark mass.

I sit alone in the shivery air,

out I stare at all the little lights,

dreaming of the future,

worrying of the present,

reminiscing of the past.

Tired as I am, I refuse to sleep,

for it's a beautiful night, the stars shine so bright.

Flower In The City

Oh, how hard is it to find a flower?

One that stands tall above it all.

Above the chaos, the bedlam of the city streets.

Time continues, the city continues, apathetically,

the pace never reaches hiatus, never ceases

the mass moves onward, focused of the moment.

The little flower stands tall but ignored.

Oh, how hard is it to find a flower?

Not that hard at all, just slow do...

Light Up The Night

Let's light up the night,

one so pitch black.

Light it up with the pale moon light,

the glow of fireflies.

Shine on lonely streetlights,

with the stars gleaming so bright.

Oh in the lifeless and dark night,

let life spring in light!

For darkness implies light,

and quietness implies life.

I am most alive in the dead hours of the night.
