We don't have city maps anymore

Siri and Alexa have taken over

and now do all the work for us

but remember when we Did have maps

and once you unfolded one

you could never fold it back again

despite your best efforts

it just would not go back to its original form

you had to finally crush it together

as best you could

cram it in the glove box

slam the hatch

and hope for the best

 

my life is kind of like that-

unfolded and all crinkled up

but hoping for the best.
