The numbers in this title

Refer to Centigrade

Temperatures about to hit

My home in Adelaide

Four days of bloody stinking heat

Records will be set

But I'll be in Hillbillys

Cool, with Thale (you've met)

(You haven't met Thalia my Muse of Mirth?

She's graced your screen on many occasions)

Together we will think up

Fun to grace your screen

Wherever in the world you are

From Thale and I, unseen

Think of us. while hot outside

(Hillbillys comfort-cool)

Thalia sipping Earl Grey tea

Mine's a coffee rule

I sink back in their leather lounge

While Thalia sits upright

Cos Thale's a lady, Muse of Mirth

Sprawled out would not look right

I don't like long-ish poems Thale

I need to finish up

(Enjoying your Earl Grey tea?

From your china cup?)

Yes Don...

The hand you see a'waving Ruth
Is fanning my poor bod
It seems to not be working well
Which does seem rather odd

blip...blip...

Janet thinks I'm waving at her.....

😋

Janet (from some other planet) is my co-pilot friend in a hovering spaceship.

Joe

Lucy L (our Like-Minders Society Head of Publicity) is reprimanding me. She says why did you assume Joe was in UK? Hmmm I said. to which she replied he could've been in

'Today, the scale is primarily used in the United States, and is also used in the Cayman Islands, Palau, Bahamas and Belize'

Take your pick she said. So I picked you a relaxed poet having a fun time in sunny Bahamas (and all that).

Spot on, Thalia my Muse of Mirth said.

Hey, where's Ruth gone? Am I too hot to handle girl?

😎

How did you know this I said?

We have ways the girls said.....

I was quite miffed as you haven't put up an audio so how was I to know? You got special communication channels with my girls?

Po, is there some sort of intra-planetary out-of-body thing going on here?

Hey, where's Ruth gone? Am I too hot to handle girl?

Oh how I wish we done proper poetry and spelling n stuff in the second rate school I sometimes attended. Then I could rite this kind of rhyming poetry Don

I sit here with log fire blazing, thermal undies on, freezing my bits off.
Just put the frost screen on the van windows and sat down for a bit of R&R and a read before slipping into my electric blanket warmed bed for some shut eye.

Catch you in the morning, if you don't get incinerated and I don't freeze to death... Global warming? WHAT global warming?

We see a snowy Christmas
They come to us each year
Decorating Christmas cards
Bringing lotsa cheer

Thalia says a Chinaman
Has lots and going cheap
And sells to sucker Aussies
And we don't give a peep

Hey Thalia, tell Don to bring you to cancer from capricorn. Life here is chilly winter for we are on opposite hemispheres. Have you guys ever seen a snowy Christmas? Common pack your bags n experience it once this summer...oops winter...oops summer...oh these hemispheres are insane things to experience..... Hahaha!!! 💖
