Remember when

women actually wore skirts

and looked

dare I say

Feminine

 

women went to great length

to look beautiful and appealing

then mini skirts came in

and the war started

 

soon skirts disappeared entirely

and women began wearing pants

as a protest

against who they were

 

now there are no more

swishing skirts

with their air of mystery

no more alluring sounds

of skirts moving with the wind

 

when skirts went away

women lost their magic

and lost the difference that

made them so appealing

 

and men lost their minds

along with their imagination

 

wondering what was underneath

those swishing skirts.
