Song Production

My verses were seamless

My chorus was tight

But my bridge needed a C section with horns to be born.

So another neighbor’s house I painted and

another driveway of concrete pavers I laid…

to get paid…

to produce my songs.

Do the dreams of a young man have a shelf life?

Because I am still doing this at 50,

And have not yet sold a single song.

But

my neighborhood sure looks great.

Michael, this is brilliant. Each subset fits seamlessly within the next and each new dimension is absolutely delicious.

Being in tune with your neighbours is hitting the right note. I wear headphones when creating my own songs - and that can help!
I'm having late life fun writing songs and lyrics (often relations of verse) and it's fun
putting them "out there" in one form or another. Excellent exercise for the brain too!
