My Communal Dance

entry picture

Here I am entering a space between episodes

where everything seems so real, so right.

So unfeigned that I begin to doubt my sanity.

But as I travel within that space inside me

I see more regressive versions

of new episodes.

They peak and ebb,

sucking me into a vortex of frustration.

Then suddenly a new story emerges.

Suddenly I’m engulfed by a flood of people.

They urge me to tune into them and the great universe.

I see it now. The contradictions of our present civilization has disrobed me

of my communal bond, my innate connections with nature,

the universe and the unrestrained adventure of discovering that divine space within each of us.

The dissonance of their chatter inspires the theme for my next story.

A story that pulls away from the previous one.A story that will cement that communal bond again.

One dynamic field of energy.

Thank you Po. Om Shanti.
Always good to connect with people like yourself.
You find your tribe with your vibe, is what I chant now.

Stay tuned.

Chakra you say..."The dissonance of their chatter inspires the theme for my next story."

I wait with each baited prana filled breath
Holding a mundra between forefinger and thumb
until that day comes

Wonderful, wonderful poem

Namaste Cynthia.

Yes there is the divine in each of us. If only more and more of us would accept and embrace our metaphysical self.

Thank you so much for your wonderful comments. I actually read them 3 times. Worth preserving -- and sharing!
And don't ever shut up. Let it flow.

Much enjoyed this, Raj. However positive insight strikes, I think it is the most valuable gift of 'being human'.

I think 'civilization' has always had contradictions, in any part of human society from the very beginnings of 'collecting together', anywhere on the planet. Somehow, leaders and followers do emerge, leaders mostly as problem solvers, observers, thinkers and doers. And then, those who can see 'That way is better.' and willingly follow, often with much respect.

And then, the thinking, the psychic energy, the communal bonding - inter-reliance of body and mind for physical survival and acceptable societal mores. The universal need for Divinity. Our human conviction that it is there because we are unique. And the purely physical acceptance: 'Mother Earth' is not really a 'joke'.

I'll shut up!

A poem which merits several readings in order to grasp all of its intricacies. ‘ Discovering that divine space which is in each of us” has a revelatory appeal as it is real.
Thank you for this
Keith
