BLIGITS

entry picture

(Spare a thought for us retired old folk in this hot weather)

Bligits. Bligits. Everywhere.

In your ears and in your hair.

In the garden while you doze

Bligits in your ears and nose.

Bligits in each orifice

It isn’t all retirement bliss.

Thanks, Don and Fish.
I don’t know the proper name for them.
My daughter’s boyfriend is a roofer, so it should be nice and warm for him today up there.

John C - Bligits?? This has to be a regional name for? thrips?? I googled it but all they gave me was a mean looking rapper guy.
Yea we've had / are having several day 35 plus. No thrips even the flies get zonked out and lie low.
Nah no sympathy for retired oldies. I remember having to work in heatwaves. We're privileged to be able to find the shade and fan the fan.
Stay cool

Cen-tury temps oldies can't cope
Suggestion maybe ice?

(For dabbling the tootsies in....)

We down here in Australia
Get toughened by the sun
To us a century is nowt
We skinny-dip, have fun

(Sorry John, we don't give visas for lusty skinny-dippers......)
