cosmic fuck poem

the search for god becomes a suffocation

stab the fat star spill yolk across the sky

yellow a scream across the de-tuned darkness

touch my lips, breakdown this sunset songbird

It's great when you use color this way--like it was plucked right out of a scene in a film.

Hi Stu,

The second line has me visualising an animation by Terry Gilliam, very surreal in thought and artistic in its construction. As ever a vivid imaging from you Stu, It also reminded me of my breakfast.

Of course the search for god is suffocating, apparently there are around 60,000 gods. If people ask me if I believe in god my first question is, which one? quickly followed by a resounding no.

I do like the one with the Elephants head though, and anything with multiple arms appeals.

This sent my mind into a flurry of thought. I had to read it several times. It has a profound quality which provokes many images. The opening line struck me as I find the search for God frustrating and almost unachieveable. An excellent work and thank you for this.
