It matters not
if there is more
what matters is
your time before
Dismiss all those
who said they would
yet only stayed
when times were good
Fair weather friends
you can forget
do what you can
in time that's left
Remember good
the bad ignore
and love the time
you had before.

This is a poem from the mind and why not? We are all, whether we like it not, rememberancers. The past is like a celluloid reel inside our head and at will we can replay the past and relive it also. To ignore the bad, the mistakes and failures may not be a good thing as it is from those experiences we learn, as opposed to the good memories where we simply wallow in nostalgia. The future, a mystery, is far more exciting.
