WOL's Blogslide Causing Problems

WOL's Blogslide Causing Problems

Preamble

Post a poem at the top and it slowly slides down. Hence 'blogslide'

WOL's blogslide, it limits me

To one poem each day

And if I go post more than this

The previous slips away

It's causing me great problems

Why? because my mind

Won't slow down it's neural clock

New poems always finds

Can you imagine pile-up?

Of poems on my drive?

Bloody mind won't wear out

Built to last, survive

Must slow down this neural clock

How this to do, I ask?

My mind it starts a'quivering

It does not like this task

Please don't slow me down Don

Don't grind me to a halt

It's blogslide's jolly mechanism

Yes WOL, it's your fault

No need to apologise, Graham!
The rule of 'one post a day' is necessary on a shared site and you will find, most common on community writing sites. Most contributors accept and understand the rule.
And Andy N, you make a good point about comments too.
It seems to me, Don, you need your own blog site so (as I've mentioned before to others) you could share more and publish some chapbooks with a link to purchase.

I've gotta tell my mind
It's gotta get a grip
Not get so neurally excited
Rest up, have a kip ?

I remember well what Graham said, Don it simply wasn't fair on the other writers really as I remember one poet joining for example and I remember him posting something alongside 50 odd poems in a day and a half. If you feel the need to blog that many, going onto wordpress or blogger is a alternative certainly among other things.

I also find as well, if you are after comments off people on here blogging so many perhaps isn't the best move also.

Would rhyming couplets take up less space?

or even one liners?

can you have a one line poem ?

alternatively - smaller print.

I wouldn't want to be
Called an Aussie flooder
Drowning out all other's work
Shudder, udder, bugger....?

Sorry Don,

The fact is that before this was introduced, some poets were flooding the site with their work and it took ages for other poets to trawl through their work to get to others.

What other prolific poets do is to produce their own blog page elsewhere on Wordpress or something similar and provide a link for others to navigate to.

Sorry for the Blogslide!
