Temple Builder. I Do Object

Temple Builder. I Do Object

I read something the other day

To which I do object

I found it out of order

'Cause me it did affect

The Temple Builder did suggest

The Rhymers Club did not

Write poems which were meaningful

But play and tommy rot

I would suggest the Builder

Go look at what we wrote

It was a mix of serious/fun

Unlike the Builder's quote

“This is no Saturday Rhymers Club

We're something bigger, something

more meaningful than playful banter”

(Aspiring Poets Wanted, Temple of

Indominitable Poetry. Thurs 17 Jan)

PostScript

I am a serious rhymer

I also play with fun

The game is don't-mess-round-with-me

I hold a sniper's gun

I have had encouraging and fruitful

contacts with the Temple.

Stay tuned

The world always has a place for fun - and when that also includes
wit - a rare commodity in today's vulgar times, then so much the better.
Spare us the pretentious...the pseudo-serious,
That seem designed to bore and weary us. ?

You too.

And feel free to come and join us when you run out of ammo there Rambo.

There's always room for people with a passion for rhyming and helping in small ways.?

I'm pleased you have made contact
Absorbed what I did say

But have a pleasant day ?

Po

I like to be treated real friendly
I like to be treated real kind
But when someone gets on my wrong side
Take cover when I really unwind

In the cross hairs of the scope

Love that blackboards little rhyme.
For whom the bell begins to chime?

How are you Ozzy friend of mine?
