Who Let This Aussie Grammar-Bender In?

You may be too busy at present

To read on your screen Aussie verse

Which bends Queenie's grammar like 'what next'?

(Good golly! this man is a curse)

Whoever did open up WOL's door?

To a poet like this larrikin?

'Twas Anya who said “it don't matter Don”

Just come on, and bring yourself in

(So I did...)

So here I splash myself on your screen

It says what I'm truly about

Take me or leave me for what I am

I'm not changing, turning roundabout

I like this MC. Some rhymes don't suit a rhymic response. This is one of them ?

We can take it in...we can throw it out -
But at least we'll experience what life's about!
This world of ours would be so tame
If all it showed was just the same!

Thankyou for you comments Brian ?

PS. I've discovered what ' put 'em in a glass case and throw sugar at them' means. Seems it's an English/Irish expression.

Well Don, it's always good to take things on board, run 'em up the flagpole, put 'em in a glass case and throw sugar at them.
