What’s The Worst That Can Happen?

entry picture

From time to time, we’re all faced with trouble and strife
Constantly perplexed on how to struggle through life
So when you’re thinking things over
Of how to get your life in clover
Make a little promise to the inner you
Try to be nice and good to people
Even though sometimes you won’t like what they do
Forgiveness is complex and personal process
When you forgive someone, you release a prisoner...
And then you realise that prisoner was you
A happy cause can always get you through
Still, if you don’t cut the mustard don’t let it get you down
Walk up a hill or into town breathe in the clean air
Try not to frown
Dress your features with a smile; feel confident about yourself
Strive to carry out good deeds
Disregard your awkward dark side
Avoid sowing bad seeds
And if a particularly tough challenge arrives and hits
Be an impact upon it rather than influenced by it

We all know that nobody comes back from the dead
So get those positive actions straight in your head
Wield an honourable sword; a lesson for life
And maybe a plentiful harvest will be your reward
Who knows? Give it a go, you never know
What’s the worst that can happen?

Stuart,

These are well tested and tried words of wisdom which I often need to be reminded of.
Thank you

Keith
