love is out to get me

Their lips drip with salvia
The hounds of love are out to get me
But I am a survivor
But how can I survive
When I know I am going to get caught by the bees of love
with your honey on my lips
but I just can’t let your honey go to waste
it drives me wild just for a taste
I am like ravenous beast
And on you I would feast
For hours and hours I would rise and expand on you like yeast
I have thought of you as an angel
Or a succubus in disguise
All I want to do is open your eyes
To how I feel I know you I love you
And although my love is hard to swallow
I know I can’t wallow
Waiting for your love to come
You make me come alive
With fire, burning flame
But I love you all the same
Although it tears me apart sometimes
When there is gap of a few days after we talk
When you send me a text I am on it like a hawk
On its prey.
But Lordy somebody give me the courage
-to say I love you!
