HATS OFF TO HARRY (Part 2)

(This original was stolen from me by Del Shannon)

When England need a talisman

The nation’s hopes to carry

We turn to one we know who can

That’s Tottenham’s captain, Harry.

Hats off to Harry

He’ll break their heart

He’ll take the best defence and shred it apart;

The Golden Boot

Is Harry’s when he shoot, shoot, shoot, shoots

Hat-trick Harry’s gone and hit the net again.

Tunisia and Panama

See Harry barely trying;

The best’s to come, though, from this star

Once Harry gets his eye in.

Hats off to Harry, he’ll break your heart

he’s Up to five goals now; it’s just a start:

So whether it be Spain

Or France the crowd chant “Kane, Kane, Kane, Kane”

Hat-trick Harry’s gone and hit the net again.

So with both feet or with his bonce

He beats opposing keepers;

Harry scores just when ne wants

He’s far too strong for sweepers

Hats off to Harry, he’ll break your heart

You’ll get your money on him, if you’re smart;

So clap your hands

Let’s hear you shout for Eng-ger-land

Hat-trick Harry’s gone and hit the net again.

How long will he stay an England tall poppy, MC? Never mind; we’ll have him back in his Tottenham shirt soon enough.

Spur-ring England on from the front - AND showing just
how a penalty should be taken (always the top corner of the
net beyond the reach of any 'keeper, no matter how athletic!).
How refreshing to see an England team with such energy
and confidence - and a "dash" that was lacking in previous
national sides. Like HK's penalties - onwards and upwards!
