STORMY DANIELS

entry picture

Don’t know why

You would think I would lie ‘bout

Stormy Daniels;

She just gave me oral and manual.

A big mistake of mine.

First finger pie

And then I’d supply

Stormy Daniels

With a snorter or two of white granules;

A big mistake of mine.

She drained me dry

With kinky sex I would try with

Stormy Daniels,

Her sister and two cocker spaniels;

A big mistake of mine.

Don’t know why

She’d say I’d try to buy off

Stormy Daniels;

In more ways than one she’s been a handful;

A big mistake of mine.

JC - SF was often on radio progs. like "Family Favourites".
If there were sour grapes about his parodies from the
"victims", I bet they didn't mind the publicity helping
sales. And what about the old adage: imitation is the
sincerest form of flattery?
As for Rickles, he was deadly. Witness his turn at Reagan's inaugural and his sudden appearance on Johnny Carson's
chat show when the latter's guest was Frank Sinatra. DR's
mocking obeisance - supplicant to godfather style - was a hoot. Fair play though - Sinatra liked Rickles a lot and enjoyed his company. Those were the great days in
entertainment.

Yes, I googled them both, MC. I didn’t know it was Freberg who did “The Banana Boat Song”. I gather the original artists weren’t happy with his parodies. Tough, I say.

JC - I still have an LP ("long playing record" for the info. of
the young WOL-ers) of Stan Freberg, and his spoofs of the
Harry Belafonte hit "Banana Boat Song" and the famous
TV show "Dragnet" (among others) still make me laugh. Happy days!

A great parody of a great "standard" - sung originally by
(in retrospect) the aptly named Lena Horne!
I've heard of setting a precedent - but this is likely to upset
a president!!
Hands-on stuff JC. I see you as a sort of vulgar Stan Freberg - with a nod to Don Rickles. And I'm not going to
bother to elaborate for anyone ignorant of those names!
