Rational Identity

I am from the sun, the moon and all that lies between.

I am from the dark, the light and that which isn't seen.

I am from whence the wind blows and home is ever out of reach.

I am from the all lives I've touched and the lessons within.

I am love, I am fear, I am truth, I am sin.

I am where I belong, though I yearn to fit in.

I am mocked, I am scorned and all the persecution.

I am admired, I am envied and sought for retribution.

I am learned, I am counsel, I am of the institution.

I am spirit, I am matter and my journey's just begun.

I am distant, I am able, I am always on the run.

I am wonder, I am knowledge, I am everything in one.

I am hopes, aspirations, I am of all that I could dream.

I am reason, I am candour, I am nothing as it seems.

I'm the walking contradiction, dependable and free.

Worry not where I have come from, worry more that I am me.

Good Evening, A well constructed poem of personal frankness, one which I shall read again. Thank you. Keith
