Ignorance we thought to be bliss

“Vote for Leave” not thinking of this.

Was such an obvious miss?

 

Then, of course, the most bitter pill

We thought we’d leave – the cost would be Nil.

But obligations

To EU nations

Has incurred such a bill.

 

No matter, though. The offsetting plus –

The NHS which benefits us

Will get some millions

From these billions.

So says our big red bus.
