1.      Poetic licence

 

Some poems are fun

Make me laugh and snigger

Some poems are sad

These are no laughing matter

Some poems are long

Some just right, others far, far too long

Some poems are short

Now they’re a relief

Some poems are tragic

Old Will the Bard was good at those I think

Some poems make no sense

I’m pretty good at those myself

Some poems are a farce

Will seems to spring to mind again

Some poems rhyme

I don’t bother most of the time

Other poems do not

Ever

Some poems use flowery language

I can see the sense in that

Some poems are more Agricultural

So the less cultivated don’t feel left out

Some poems make me think

Give me pause, make me ponder

Some poems are just plain silly

But I’m not sure what this one is yet
