Chemical Attack - Syria

 

Invisible, with lethal intent

it pervades unseen on innocent life

No evidence of a violent explosion

No warning of impending doom

it creeps about entering each and every room

Sent, dispatched to torture and choke

by the perverted at a capricios stroke

A invisible mist does permeate

with an intensity of virulent hate

No protection is readily at hand

as bodies writhe and vomit in the sand

Screams echo through a nebulous hell

as gas unleashed reaches every cell

Those not involved in man´s folly

bear the consequences of this volley

Sheer hate is spewed out

as children choke in a violent rout

This has no place in humanity

as it constitutes horrific brutality

The dictator whose hand wields the power

will one day meet his hour

Along with his satanic cohort 

the dictator will be brought to court

If not before another justice should arise

as the innocent hear his choking cries
