November Fog

Old hallows
You’ve thrown me again!
Off kilter
Splinter mind
Chaos
First glimpse of
Thin veil
Delicate
Rise and fall
Shrill damp cry

November fog forever
Rustle slender leaves
Kick brown brittle
Crunch and curse
Guy Fawkes
Let’s burn them all!

November fog descends
Explode around me
Simultaneous combustion
Of the heart and mind
In all ways

Heart sings as it
Breaks and is
Made whole
Mind
In pieces
Sewn together
In bits
Wrapped up in
All you are

You
Are a certain in all of this
How could that be?
Precarious unweilding
Wild you
Holding me together
As the November fog
Pelts down from all directions

Heavy temporal pressure
Systems bruised and
Eyes glazed over
Silent empty screaming
Muscles and mind
be kind, November
Old hallows pushes and i
Again topple into you,
November
Head first plummeting
In love and
In loathing
Oh,
What a funny time of year

Kick brown brittle.... Is a brilliant line, in a great verse.

I have always felt the seasons and emotions are tied and it is our one with nature. Here you capture a month and a feeling as one. X
