So many years now fill the glass
Of life remembering British farce.
A time when top notch timing was all
And enabled many a perfect fall
Through doors and windows open and shut -
And helpless guffawing from the gut.
The skill and fun in all those tricks
Now has me saying "God bless, Lord Rix".

Heard a good one yesterday M.C.
Man with a glass eye leans out of hotel-room window - his eye falls out.
It is caught by beautiful blond four floors down.
She fetches it up to him in his bedroom.
He thanks her profusely...She looks at the bed.
Girl (coyly)...would you like to have sex.
Man (indignantly) ...Certainly not! you can`t expect me to
have sex with the first girl that catches my eye!
