Foreboding

Eyes so dark like drowning in molten mystery
Your stare shatters my resolve
A seraphic touch played its music on my skin
Your hands lead me into danger
A rhythmical voice that unburdens my heart
Your song confuses my mind
A remembered dream that torments my sleep
Your face impregnates the screen
Once my lover now my friend
Your silence screams at me
Betrayal bites the hand that fed it
Yours lies are hard to swallow

I knew that you would make me cry

But you

Never believed me

BetrayalconfusionLove lost

Ah yes! Thanks Rob!! Corrected! That slipped though my edit!! He claimed that once we were 'friends' we couldn't hurt each other - but in fact he hurt me more as a friend than he ever did during our brief liaison!

Vicki - should that be ' I knew that you would make me cry'? I love the seraphic touch line, and the mystery of why he/she would not believe you? Pray tell.

Wow thank you Martin! That was the line that started the whole piece if I'm honest. Thanks again x

This is something that feels like it was written by the bard in terms of it's rhythm and pace. I particularly like
'Your silence screams at me' what a great line Fab Vicky
