Security I Guess

Help me oh please help me

I havent lost my mind

But tell me oh please tell me

Why it is so hard to find,

I havent fallen off the truck

It crushed another man,

I know the training perfectly

But never met the sand.

A lonely man you'd call me

But you are to blind to see,

Im married to a wealthy wife

Who's tied me to a tree,

The branches shake above me

And the grass it beds my feet,

My life it is the island

That she offered up to me.

My toil it is my backbone

And my backbone bends to break,

My suffering is constant

But I'm so used to the ache,

In childhood I was prince

To an unknowing peaceful king,

My master now relentless with a whip

Thats born to sting.

The pen it isn't heavy

It scribbles on the page,

Its stringy silent child helps me

Beat away the age,

The TV show a book or two

Ill take them as i please,

In marriage, life, in daily strife

On paper Im a sage.

This is again, brilliant, and so you. On paper I'm a sage. So am I.
Love your work.
