Reach for the sky at Write Out Loud Marsden tonight

entry picture

The theme is Sky at this month’s meeting of Write Out Loud Marsden on Wednesday 15 July. Compere of the open-floor night at Marsden library, Marsden Mechanics Hall – Mr Blue Sky himself, Julian Jordon - said: “There’s been a lot of it about recently, sky. Blue stuff, antidote to the Colne Valley’s customary cumulo-congestus cloud covering. I mean, how else could ’SKY’ be interpreted? Hmm. Over to you.”

As ever, the theme is not compulsory. Neither is reading. You can just listen and enjoy, in this friendly, lively group. Julian added: “The craic is always superb, fascinating and worthwhile. Just be quick before all the biscuits go.” A donation of £2 is requested, with biscuits and a hot beverage included. Write Out Loud is grateful for the support of Kirklees Libraries and particularly Diane Green. More details and Map
