Whats in a Name

entry picture

I love her name
It gently alights upon my pillow
Brushing my cheek
Soft as not to awaken me
I love her name
It dreams through my night
Taking flight before the morning
Fancy like a sweet refrain
Warm it lights the summer
Time over time
Her fragrance upon my lip
No song was ever sung as sweetly
Nor did it sound so lovely

I love her name
I love her name

Warmly romantic, and sincere. The 'name' is personified in many ways, but very relate-able as the image compounds.

It's great to see you back on-line in Poetry Blogs.
