It’s time to lay down the law

There is no party of the poor

They all cosy in to get that marginal seat

They don’t give a fuck if you can’t eat

 

Its time....

To slay the law

Because there is no party of the poor

 

No matter how often we cry it’s unjust!!

My neighbours tittering on the brink

of a motorway bridge

 Debt letter in hand, benefits cut to the quick

Those in Westminster will cry

 

“Just jump”

 

It’s time to roll up our sleeves

And do some honest graft

And take power away from

Those who

 Label us

“Daft”
